WARRIORS WIN A HUGE GAME IN DENVER WINNING GAME 2. Without David Lee and even with the nuggets getting one of there best players back in Kenneth Faried, the Warriors pull the upset and beat the Denver Nuggets 131-117. Stephen Curry had a great game scoring 30 points and adding 13 assists to that. People had to pick up the slack with David Lee and damn did these players play great.
Klay Thompson added 21 points, Jarrett Jack went for 26 points and rookie Harrison Barnes went for a career high of 24 points. The Warriors looked fine without there big man David Lee. The Warriors shot 64% from the field, which is the best in the playoffs since 1991. They also made 14 out of 25 from three point range which is second best in the history of the Golden State Warriors.
This was a very high scoring game and the Warriors were just on top of there game and shooting the lights out. Now the Warriors and the Nuggets head back to Oracle Arena in Oakland, California where the Warriors play there home games. Friday night is game 3 and then game 4 is on Sunday also in Oakland.
Now that the Warriors are headed home and also stole one game in Denver, all they have to do is win there games at home and take care of there own court. This was a very big game win for the Warriors, but I think it was an even bigger loss for the Nuggets because they had the home court advantage and let the Warriors come into Denver and steal a game. We will see what happens in the series. Go Warriors!
